The 'pro-choice' euphemism is as ironic as it is deceptive. My experience is that those who are most noisily 'in favor of choice in this arena are typically among those who want to deny MY right to choose in just about every other aspect of life.
The Founders created a constitutional republic in which the sovereign states played an important role. If liberty is to have any chance of survival (not likely) we need to return to a system in which the states are meaningful political communities.
Prayer to our good God is a good thing always & everywhere, and an integral part of my life. But given the value system that prevails in our public schools today I would not want any child of mine exposed to the kind of prayer that such a depraved system would certainly produce.
Even recognizing that free speech inevitably opens the door to some vile and disgusting things, the dangers of censorship always and everywhere outweigh the benefits. Whenever the state controls expression, it the truth is ALWAYS the first casualty.
