Now that the emotional response from past events has subsided, people are back to normal; gun-rights activists aren't looked upon as crazy and gun-restriction activists aren't speaking out as much. This will heat up again when something else happens.
@BigFish I will gladly support those lives. I just don't want the gov't to decide so freely where my money goes to "support". I'd rather keep more of my own money to have the freedom to choose who I support. Don't get me wrong, gov't still needs some money for those services.
In this day and age, when you work for someone, you are obligated to not say crazy things to misrepresent the thoughts and viewpoints of your employer. A&E didn't want to have that image from people so they took action. Fortunately for fans, it was fixed.
