@BigFish Ya, that is sort of what I was getting at. I still think in the end I expect them to get some things done like I what I mentioned. They should have plenty of room in the house for some wackos to vote them down and even a couple in the senate assuming no D votes
@BigFish now dont get wrong the Jim Jordans of the world will try to do what you suggest and have some success, but I think they will ultimately be squashed, though I wouldn't underestimate Barry's ability to sabotage himself by vetoing things he should sign
@BigFish I disagree on that one to be honest. I think the leadership will realize the valuable opportunity they have to show they can govern before 2016 and that will greatly help presidential election. For instance, I see keystone pipeline, tax reform, immigration reform etc
@davidhilel couldn't agree more. Hard part is how to approach it and that I am not sure of. Its frustrating to see our President claim world is no different than it normally is but that it is just social media given us new access that has everyone riled up. What say you? @BigFi
@ReDxSiLLy@BigFish There's also a third position. Against it because it is really bad economics and in favor of people have a decent standard of living. Earned Income Tax Credit is far better than minimum wage
@jonasthecrellin@BigFish She might be qualified, but the corruption is far deeper than the typical been around Washington for this long. The big money aspect is what bothers me the most. The paid speeches by her and Bill, foreign contribs to her foundation (really slush fund)
@BigFish@Tom Ya, Trump is basically running as a mid century German. Nationalist, racist, authoritarian. Did you see he thinks amazon is violating anti-trust. No they're just good at sending shit through the mail lol
@AngryGuy@Thoughtologist Because the nomination processes are just that. They aren't elections. The parties are picking nominees and can set that up however, they want. This is a party process not a federal government or elections process.
@Tom Ya, not sure I fully understand this anyway. It's not like there are monitors to see who uses what bathroom. Why do we need a law either way. Go where you want to go for god sake. Anything nefarious that happens if you use the wrong one will itself be illegal, right??
